The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company is the oldest or second oldest remaining English porcelain manufacturer, based in Derby , England disputed by Royal Worcester , who claim as their year of establishment. The production of Derby porcelain dates from the second half of the 18th century, although the The potter Andrew Planche is often cited as a forerunner of the Derby china factory.
